There's not at all like a little Irish bourbon to get you in the gathering mind-set. What's more, this tart, tasty shot is the ideal green mixed drink to keep the St. Patrick's Day slam going in the middle of green lager and all the green hued nourishment.

Goodness, and remember the pot of gold! Dunk the shot glass edges in gold sprinkles and you'll have a sparkly St. Patrick's Day drink in your grasp (or one in each hand, we won't tell!)

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons corn syrup
• gold sprinkles
• 4 ounces whiskey
• 4 ounces apple schnapps

Instructions

1. Dip rims of four shot glass in corn syrup and then dip them in gold sprinkles.
2. Pour one ounce of whiskey in each of the four shot glasses.
3. Top off with the apple schnapps.  Cheers and down the hatch!
