Strawberries and Cream Smoothie #healthydrink #drinkrecipe #smoothiehealthy #cocktail

It's springtime, strawberry season has arrived, and the climate is bright and beautiful in San Diego.

I had an incredible run early today outside and came in and investigated the solidified strawberries in the cooler and realized I needed to utilize them.

The main thing that would have improved this would have been including a fix of rum or Malibu.

I made a twofold clump, emptied it into a bowl, put it in the cooler and later on this evening when I am watching Million Dollar Listing or a DVR'ed scene of The Real Housewives or Bethenny (truly, I love Bravo), I can scoop it into my mouth with a spoon as a strawberries 'n cream "frozen yogurt"

This sweet and rich smoothie resembles a strawberry milkshake, however more beneficial. On the off chance that you utilize new berries as opposed to solidified, the smoothie won't be freezing except if you include ice, which will dilute it. Utilize solidified berries if conceivable, or hurl crisp berries into the cooler for even an hour prior to making this for better outcomes. Alternatively, make as a "dessert" or solidified treat. Empty mixed blend into a bowl, freeze until practically strong, and serve. Or then again make popsicles – use paper dixie cups or ice 3D shape plate and toothpicks or wooden barbecue sticks as the stick in the event that you don't have popsicle molds. Include rum (and a squirt of lime juice in the event that you have it) for strawberry daiquiris, or Malibu, Citron, Gran Marnier. Include protein powder, sprinkle with chocolate sauce, include other natural product (bananas, oranges, mango, pineapple, peaches, and so forth.) to the blend before mixing.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries (big handful), fresh may be used although ice may be necessary
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream (use your favorite milk or vegan milk, i.e. coconut milk cream, soy cream, etc.)
  • sweetenter, to taste (sugar, stevia, agave, etc.)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Depending on how many strawberries you used, their size, your blender, and your desired smoothie thickness and consistency, you may need more than 1/4 cup cream (I used about 1/2 cup), or add a splash of water, to reach desired consistency.
  2. Serve immediately. Leftover portion may be stored in the freezer for later consumption for up to 2 months. The smoothie does not change consistency and taste is not effected upon thawing.
