Gracious and I absolutely give you authorization to include a little gin or vodka into your bit of the slushy. Boozy summer drinks are pretty much all I consider during the long blistering evenings when the young ladies are irascible from a lot of sun, swimming and summer fun.
For one, it's practically similar to a movement for the children. It chills them off while not letting them get too many cerebrum freezes. I really prefer to serve these to the young ladies with a long spoon so they need to eat them significantly more gradually, which gives me an additional 5 minutes of sweltering summer harmony. In any case, presented with a spoon or straw, the children LOVE these slushies!
Include some shimmering water and mix until you get the privilege slushy consistency. You need your slushy to be thicker and increasingly stout then a smoothie yet not all that thick you need to bite the ice.

- 6 limes, juiced
- 1/2 cup honey (or sugar)
- 1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves
- 5-6 cups of ice
- 2 cups (1 16.9 bottle) sparkling water
- 1. In a blender, add in all of the ingredients and blend for 30-45 seconds or until the mint is broken down and the ice is broken into small slushy size pieces. I find that I have to either add in a couple more pieces of ice or a little more water to get the right consistency.
- 2. Pour into glasses and serve right away.
- 3. If your leftovers get too watery, add in some more ice and blend again before serving.
